Yes, Copart Spain currently offers international shipping services. Go to the "Services and Support" >> "Shipping" menu for more information.

Copart offers national and international shipping services to all buyers who request them. You can request this service from your won lots or your payment history.

Our auctions are held online every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You can access them through the "Auctions" tab or from your user area once you are logged in.

You will be able to see upcoming auctions, locations, and the schedule. Access the auction schedule to see all the vehicles that will be auctioned in the coming weeks. All our auctions begin at 11:00 AM (local time in Spain).

Being a customer includes numerous benefits:

  • Access to auctions of hundreds of vehicles located at Copart's facilities.
  • Vehicles are awarded to the highest bidder during the auction, without waiting.
  • Additional services are available five days a week, including the opportunity to visit and view vehicles in our storage lots and more.
  • You can also hire our transport service.

Most of the vehicles offered by Copart are wrecked and broken down, cars to be repaired or scrapped.

In Spain, we have the following locations: Madrid (Algete), Barcelona (Rajadell), Seville (Mairena del Alcor), A Coruña (As Pontes de García Rodríguez), Vitoria (Araia), Alicante (Aspe), Granada (Alhendín), Mallorca (Santa Margalida), Gran Canaria, and Tenerife. Internationally, we have more than 166 locations spread across the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates.

Our online auctions are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 11:00 am.

Copart customers can visit our lots and view the vehicles free of charge from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Once you arrive at the lot, we will accompany you to the vehicle you are interested in.

Yes, although Copart provides high-quality images and detailed descriptions of vehicles, any information provided by the seller or Copart is for informational purposes only. Therefore, it is your responsibility to inspect a vehicle before bidding. That's why Copart invites you to visit our location to view the vehicles you are interested in.

This is one of our most popular questions! With the number of vehicles auctioned every day increasing, you're very likely to find what you're looking for.

We sell vehicles on behalf of:

  • Insurance Companies,
  • Banks,
  • Financial Institutions,
  • Leasing Companies,
  • Fleet Managers,
  • Dealerships,
  • the General Public, etc.

The easiest way to find a specific vehicle is to use our search bar, located at the top of any section of our website. This will allow you to see the results of your search. For an advanced search, use our vehicle finder, where you can find vehicles that fall into the following categories:

  • Vehicle Type,
  • Damage Type,
  • Featured Parts,
  • Purchase Options,
  • and Current Bid Price.

You can also search by year, make, model, and location. If you found this search helpful, use the "Save Search" option so you can repeat it when you return to the website. Another way to search for vehicles is by downloading a CSV file with sales data. With this spreadsheet, you can filter the vehicle data to select the images you want to see.

  • To access our auctions and purchase our vehicles, you must be a professional in the automotive sector (workshop, spare parts supplier, vehicle dealership, or scrap yard) and have an active account. This requires completing the registration process, providing the necessary documentation, and paying your annual subscription fee (Basic or Premium).
  • Once you have decided which vehicles you would like to bid on, you can place a preliminary bid or join the current (live) auction. All our auctions in Spain begin at 11:00 AM (Spanish local time).
  • Don't forget to check the auction calendar to find out when the auctions will take place. The auction is held at the same time in all locations.
  • Registration is required to access our auctions. If you are already registered, click "Log In"; if not, click "Register".
  • Once registered, click the "Auctions" button to see a list of "Today's Auctions" and the "Auction Calendar". Once the auction is about to begin, you can access it from the homepage, your customer profile, or anywhere else on the website. Once in the "Auction Panel," you can bid on the vehicles that interest you most. This panel is where you can browse the vehicles up for auction, bid on them, and experience the thrill of winning.

Bid and Buy

The highest bid must be accepted by the owner. If the minimum bid is not reached during the online auction, the owner will have the option to accept or reject the highest bid.

Copart buyers can place a preliminary bid at any time up to one hour before the auction begins. When a preliminary bid is placed, a value is assigned to the vehicle before the sale. Your preliminary bid will be displayed during the auction in our VB3 BID4U system. This preliminary bid will be the winning bid unless it is outbid by another preliminary bid or a bid placed during the auction. In the event of a tie between the preliminary bid and the auction bid, the bid placed during the auction will prevail.

Preliminary bids can be placed by any Copart buyer who has completed the registration process. Place an automatic bid from your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Of course, logged-in buyers can add vehicles to their “Favorites” and view them on both their computer and mobile phone. This is the best way to keep track of vehicles you're interested in.

Similarly, we also offer the option to save your searches. This will save you time if you want to perform the same search multiple times.

If you are not registered on our platform, Do it now and take advantage of this tool.

If you're looking for a specific vehicle, or simply want to find one of a certain type, Copart makes it very easy.

Once you are in the “Search for a vehicle” section, you can search through a wide variety of predefined categories:

  • Vehicle type
  • Type of damage
  • Featured pieces
  • Purchase options
  • Destination type
  • Current bid price

You can also search by year, make, model, location, batch number, etc.

Alternatively, you can also search using a specific word or phrase that describes what you're looking for. Use the search bar located at the top of the website.

Once you've performed a search, you can save it by clicking "Save Search." This will give you a list of your searches, making them easy to perform next time. You can also add your search results to "Favorites" to help you keep track of vehicles you're interested in.

Copart offers you the possibility of informing you by email about new vehicles that are registered on the platform, based on your search criteria.

With Copart's online auction system, buyers can experience the excitement of a live auction from the comfort of their home or office. Now that you know how to register and join the auction, let the auction begin!

You can bid from your computer by selecting one of the automatic bid increment options.

Watch other buyers' bids and compete to win. The highest bidders will win the right to purchase the vehicle! When the auction ends, the timer will turn red, and bidding will close.

Participants can bid against other members during the live online auction. If a bid is the highest when the timer expires, the highest bidder at that moment wins the vehicle. (If the vehicle has a hold, it will be subject to seller approval.)

The first step to bidding and buying at Copart auctions is to register as a buyer. Fill out the registration form and follow the steps. You will need to choose between the Basic or Premium subscription. As a final step, you will need to attach the requested documentation.

Once you've decided which vehicles you'd like to bid on, you can place a preliminary bid or join the ongoing (live) auction.

All our auctions in Spain start at 11:00 AM (Spanish local time). Don't forget to check the auction calendar to see when the auctions will take place. The auction is held at the same time in all locations. You need to be registered to access our auctions.

If you're already registered, click "Log In"; if not, click "Register." Once registered, click the "Auctions" button to see a list of "Today's Auctions" and the "Auction Calendar."

When the auction is about to start, you can access it from the homepage, your customer profile, or anywhere else on the website.

Once on the "Auction Panel," you can bid on the vehicles that interest you most. This panel is where you can browse the vehicles up for auction, bid on them, and experience the thrill of winning.
